Terms of Hire
Last updated: March 2026
Please read these terms carefully before requesting or using any equipment from Ninoty ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting a quote request or entering into a hire agreement with us, you agree to these terms.
1. The Hire Agreement
A hire agreement is formed when we confirm your booking in writing by email. The agreement covers the specific items, dates and location agreed at the time of confirmation. Prices and availability are confirmed at the time of booking.
2. Booking and Notice
All bookings require a minimum of 48 hours' notice before the requested delivery date. We will endeavour to accommodate shorter notice where possible but cannot guarantee availability. Submitting a quote request does not confirm a booking — your hire is only confirmed once we have sent written confirmation by email.
3. Minimum Hire Periods
- Travel cot: Minimum 3 nights
- High chair: Minimum 2 nights
- Pram / stroller: Minimum 2 nights
When multiple items are hired together, the longest minimum hire period of all selected items applies to the entire booking.
4. Pricing and Payment
Hire prices are as quoted and confirmed by email. Pricing is per night for the duration of the hire period. A delivery fee may apply depending on your location within London — this will be included in your confirmed quote. Payment arrangements are confirmed at the time of booking and made before or at delivery.
5. Deposits
A refundable security deposit is required for each item hired:
- Travel cot: £80
- High chair: £40
- Pram / stroller: £90
Total deposits for any single booking are capped at £150. Deposits are refunded within 3–5 working days after collection and inspection of the equipment, provided there is no damage, loss, missing parts or extreme soiling beyond normal use.
6. Deposit Deductions
Normal wear and tear will not result in a deposit deduction. The following may result in a partial or full deduction from your deposit:
- Physical damage beyond reasonable wear and tear
- Missing components, accessories or parts
- Extreme soiling that requires specialist cleaning
- Loss or theft of the equipment while in your care
We will notify you of any deductions before processing the refund and provide supporting information where applicable.
7. Delivery and Collection
Delivery and collection times are agreed by email when your booking is confirmed. You, or a nominated person, must be available to receive the delivery and return the equipment at the agreed times. If we are unable to deliver or collect due to your absence without prior notice, an additional charge may apply to reschedule.
Delivery fees are based on your location and are included in your confirmed quote.
8. Your Responsibilities During the Hire
During the hire period, you are responsible for:
- Using all equipment safely and in accordance with the manufacturer's guidelines, including age and weight limits
- Keeping the equipment secure and protected from theft or damage
- Not modifying, subhiring or transferring the equipment to any third party
- Informing us immediately if any item is damaged, lost or stolen
- Returning all equipment in a clean and reasonable condition
9. Cancellation Policy
To cancel a confirmed booking, please notify us by email at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery time. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may result in a cancellation fee to cover our logistics costs. Any deposit already paid will be refunded in full for cancellations made within the required notice period.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking in exceptional or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund of any amounts paid.
10. Late Returns and Extensions
If you wish to extend your hire period, please contact us as soon as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and must be agreed in writing before the scheduled collection date. Equipment retained beyond the agreed end date without prior arrangement may incur additional hire charges at our standard daily rate.
11. Cleaning Standards
All equipment is thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between every hire. Travel cots are supplied with a clean mattress and freshly laundered fitted sheet. You are expected to return equipment in a reasonable state of cleanliness. Excessive soiling that requires specialist cleaning beyond our standard process will be deducted from your deposit.
12. Safety and Suitability
All equipment is safety-checked before delivery. You must use all equipment within the manufacturer's recommended age, weight and usage guidelines. If you are unsure whether an item is suitable for your child, please contact us before booking. Ninoty accepts no liability for injury or damage resulting from misuse, modification or use outside the manufacturer's guidelines.
13. Limitation of Liability
Our liability to you is limited to the total value of your hire agreement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or any matter where liability cannot be excluded by law.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms or your hire with us shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The terms in force at the time of your booking confirmation apply to that booking.
